Iowa County Ambulance Service provides emergency medical coverage to all 576 square miles of Iowa County. Paramedic staffed ambulances are based in Marengo and Williamsburg and respond to approximately 1200 calls per year.

Iowa County is fortunate to have Quick Responder Teams located throughout the county to offer medical assistance until the ambulance arrives. Quick Responder Teams are located in:

Iowa County Ambulance is county owned and hospital operated. A management contract between the Iowa County Board of Supervisors and Marengo Memorial Hospital has allowed the citizens and visitors of Iowa County to be provided state of the art emergency medical care for over twenty-five years.
